Bubble Plan supports production planning over the long term.

Customer story · Industrial production
Adatris processes and packages organic herbal teas sourced from French supply chains. With around ten employees and some thirty plants processed, the company uses Bubble Plan to share a common view of production, from planning through to shipping.
A centralised schedule to save time and share the same information across departments.

Time savings associated with centralising the production schedule.
Operations can be adjusted to reflect priorities and customer requests.
Teams access the same information to coordinate their operations.
The challenge
Processing and packaging organic herbal teas involves a series of operations: cutting, sieving, blending, storage, quality testing and packaging. This process can span several months and requires close coordination between departments.
Before Bubble Plan, Adatris used Google Calendar, which the company found less visual and less suited to tracking all its operations. It needed a clear view of each stage and how they fit together, centralised information and a way to anticipate raw material, packaging and resource needs.
The aim was to establish a shared, up-to-date view of production while retaining the flexibility to adjust the schedule according to priorities and customer requests.
The solution
Adatris uses Bubble Plan to schedule several interdependent production lines. The Gantt chart makes manufacturing and packaging stages visible, while colour codes associated with different plants make the schedule easier to read.
Each operation can be adjusted easily. Checklists track the steps to complete and help prevent oversights. Teams also attach documents, production tables and useful information directly in the tool.
The team learned to use Bubble Plan in less than a week. Synchronisation with Microsoft Teams also helps integrate it into existing working habits.

A complementary use
The Kanban board complements the schedule by bringing together regularly consulted information: stock levels, customer reservations and quality data.
Teams can use the same tool to consult this information and track production operations.

Centralising the schedule improves visibility and operational tracking across departments.
All departments consult the same schedule, from production and quality through to shipping.
Seeing the sequence of operations helps anticipate raw material, packaging and resource needs.
Operations are easily adjusted according to priorities and customer requests.
